Can I be honest? You need to go back to the Taj Mahal; metaphorically speaking, because that was the most beautiful and inspired writing I’ve seen in a long time. You literally sound bored which is insane in NYC. You got this, Kirshner😉
Zach(I never call you that), I’ve told you many times, your writing is like a warm blanket on a sofa in front of a fire. But not as much lately. That’s a hard pill to swallow when sometimes your reader needs a warm blanket on a sofa in front of a fire and not a thesis paper. You’re brilliant, we know that, but your best work doesn’t come from your head, it comes from that place a few inches lower and to the left. I’m here on the upper east for a minute if you need someone to run you amuck around this city to help beat your boredom🤷🏻♀️

always be honest - i do really appreciate the candor
it’s also really interesting to compare how it felt while writing those two pieces to how they come off the page to you

Your work vocab's on point! Sounds like you could use a breather, though.
I find deep breaths harder to come by in this city..
